Можно долго спорить, какая крайность -- лучше.
Оруэлл взял крайность, и взял её в её "категорическом" проявлении.
(почему-то назвал национализмом... странно, но ладно, пусть... интересно,
какую цель он преследовал этой подменой...;)
Столь же "крайнее" стремление мышлить самостоятельно, оценивать всё
самостоятельно и лезть, где не просят, отвечать за всё лично -- крайность
_такая же_.

Религии бывают разные...
Нужно искать средину, и между стадностью и индивидуализмом -- тоже.
