Не удаётся подключиться к серверу VPN.
На сервере - mpd (FreeBSD)
У меня - pptp-linux (pptp-client) на Linux
Проблема появляется при включении шифрования трафика - mppe128
Проблему локализовал:
В Linux'е неправильно трактуются сжатые коды протокола внутри зашифрованного
mppe-пакета.
Ожидаются такого вида: 0x0021, тогда как mpd посылает 0x21.
Опция nopcomp не помогает.
Видимо надо работать над pppd.
Куда обратиться?
Разработчики mpd мне ответили, дали патч для mpd, но провайдер не желает его
использовать.
Windows подключается без проблем.

Если вы считаете, что это ошибка в pppd, то повесьте PR на пакет ppp и
свяжитесь с разработчиками ppp.
В противном случае имеет смысл зафиксить либо сменить провайдера.
