Ну не знаю, как там у химиков (сдается мне что не сильно иначе), а у
физиков бывают лабораторные работы, экспериментальные данные, графики с
точками с "усами" погрешностей, прямые по ним "наименьшими квадратами" и
т.п. Поэтому gnuplot иди аналог очень полезная штука. Но если без особых
претензий, то и OOCalc подойдет :)
