Странно, при указанной опции user в fstab все должно быть нормально:
-- /etc/fstab

Поскольку модуль ide-cd у Вас не загружается, то и эта
строчка не нужна.
Я обычно придерживаюсь методы, при которой строчки, относящиеся к
одному устройству, находятся рядом.
