Спасиб, попробовал. Не получается. После внесенных поправок имем:
[root@localhost root]# mount mnt/cdrom
mount: can't find mnt/cdrom in /etc/fstab or /etc/mtab
[root@localhost root]# mount /dev/cdrom mnt/cdrom
mount: mount point mnt/cdrom does not exist
[root@localhost root]#
Я приложил исправленные файлы. Может, там еще что-нибудь не так?
На машине стоит "Linux-Mandrake RE Spring 2001", локальной сети нет.
