Нет, это что-то другое. Вчера воткнул винт в другой комп (на соседнем
столе стоит брат-близнец) - завис спустя примерно 15 минут.

я сейчас и сижу на init 3 :), а письма из pine строчу.
Сегодня вечером запущу компиляцию, о результатах сообщу.
