Одно не понятно - зачем для печати Linux->Linux вообще
использовать Samba??
Все это отлично делатеся через сам CUPS напрямую, достаточно в
конфиге клиентского CUPS'а указать IP адрес сервера который
держит принтеры и все, при старте cupsd на клиенте они сами
клиенту подцепятся со всеми настройками :-))
Отлично работает - проверено, и возни никакой :-)
