Проблема такая.
На Linux-машине в cups настроен принтер, который является
сетевым через самбу. Т.е. адрес типа smb://host//hp.
Если этот //host/hp является общим принтером в Win98/Win2000,
то все работает и печатает любые файлы через lpr.
В процессе планового и повсеместного перехода на Linux
установили на host Linux, настроил там cups на локальный принтер,
всё тоже печатает.
Внимание, проблема: Не печатает с Linux-машины, упомянутой в самом начале.
Никаких ошибок в логах, всё отрабатывает вроде, вызывается
/usr/lib/cups/backend/smb и всё... В очередях пусто, в логах тоже,
на host ничего не приходит. НЕ ПЕЧАТАЕТ!
smbclient -L host показывает ресурс hp,
через smbclient -P даже удается распечатать текстовый файл,
а через backend --- молчание.
Перегружаем host в Win --- печатает. Непонятно...
Попробовал на Linux-машине настроить ещё один принтер hp1,
печатающий на ipp://host/hp. Так он при печати пишет что-то в логи
про ошибку открытия файла или недостаточно прав... Буду уточнять.
Да, система из Сизифа от 25.12.01.
Наверное я чего-то не понимаю. Только вот что?
