ее еще выцепить надо. как узнать, какая машина вцепилась в диск?

имхо, с самого начала пошла неверная линия обсуждения.
Вместо того чтобы втупую бодаться за фичи в ядре, стоит еще раз поднять вопрос о разработке несложной системы сборки custom ядра.
на десктопах для неопытных я бы попробовал супермаунт.
на своей машине он мне не нужен (как и vesafb в ядре с заставкой).
на сервере я вообще желаю serial в ядро, чтобы консоль подключать через порт (нет у меня видеокарт на серверах).
Пока что, вместо этого плодятся бинарные ядра, для которых уж и названий скоро не хватит. :)
