Дело в личных предпочтениях. Мне не нравится тот факт, что какой-либо пакет будет
валяться без соответствующей записи в базе rpm. их потом трудноато удалить. Потому
я все собираю в rpm - опять же удобно контролировать, что у тебя и где.
gcc-3.0.4 я собрал, стянув srpm от 3.0.3, но только обломался - с ним kde все равно не
компиляется, перебрался обратно на 2.95 - так оно надежней будет, хоть и нет оптимизации под атлон,
да ну и черт с ней, главное, чтобы работало без глюков.
Кстати, отрываясь от темы - выход kde-3.0 запланирован на промежуток от 4-го до 8-го марта, будет ли
включение kde-3.0 в сизиф?
