Какую печать Вы использовали? Direct print или print? Попробуйте распечатать
в файл и посмотреть gv. Совпдает ли с preview?

Ту, на которой принтер нарисован на панели инстрементов, рядом с
print-preview.
При печати print directly из меню "Файл" печатается сплошной
черный лист.
Опять я ступил, в параметрах страницы был выбран формат letter,
теперь поставил правильный, A4. Теперь preview показывает то же,
что получается при печати, но не совпадает с тем, как
отображается при наборе текста.
И по-прежнему пропадает при печати (как и в preview) конец
текста.

Это в случае, если стоит черно-белая печать? Если да, то это
известно.

Неудобно, но полный WYSIWYG не обеспечивает ни один текстовый
процессор. Странно было бы требовать этого от Abi.
Кстати, приятная новость от команды OpenOffice: обещают новую
систему печати (основанную на генерации ps) в следующем snapshot.
В CVS, правда, пока не нашел.

Зачем полный, пусть хотя бы количество страниц при наборе и при
печати совпадает. Кстати, текст, тот, что при наборе есть, при
печати ОТСУТСТВУЕТ СОВСЕМ!! По-моему, это уже не капризы к
интерфейсу.

А вставка из буфера там будет работать? Кстати, есть какой-нибудь

 IMHO не верно - MS Ворд обеспечивает (за исключением ошибок в драйверах
принтера и системе печати виндов). И AW тоже обеспечивал если бы в нем не
было ошибок. Просто так они написаны - они не могут быть не-WYSIWYG.

 Попробуйте распечатать этот файл через direct print в не-Black&White режиме -
у меня распечатанный через Direct Print текст идентичен тому, что показывает
AW в окне редактирования.
