Именно так и делаю, ибо работаю в сети и необходимо давать и другим
пользователям доступ, причем по паролям.

А интерфейс vmware поднимаю СРАЗУ после eth, так что samba подключается и на
этом интерфейсе (VMWARE-11, SAMBA-91 в /etc/rc.d/rc3.d).
