JFYI: transifex/transate-toolkit пишутся на пайтоне и в Lokalize смогут быть интегрированы отдельные скрипты
типа получения готовых переводов, выполнения проверок и прочие штуки касающиеся workflow.
если к производительности ставятся высокие требования, то движок памяти переводов
и показа различий можно выделить из Lokalize в отдельную библиотеку с консольным клиентом,
тогда он будет висеть отдельным процессом и работать с остальной системой через dbus или локальный сокет.
БД - по желанию. я вот сейчас например работаю с postgresql в рамках одного из комм.проектов.
