Когда я устанавливал Desktop на соседнюю машину решил взять xorg.conf от
Compact'а и подправить "в соответствии" (там были уже прописаны нужные
мне Modeline'ы). Иксы не запустились. Посмотрел на оригинальный
xorg.conf, созданный во время установки - удивился, так как не обнаружил
настроек FontPath вообще. Убрал из своего конфига также - все
заработало. Кстати, если я правильно помню там и xfs тоже не было.
Отсюда вопрос - откуда x.org в альте берет шрифты и где эти настройки
указываются?
