Тут такое дело - смотрим /etc/fstab
У вас скорей всего :
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs rw,nosuid 0 0
У меня
tmpfs /tmp tmpfs rw,size=12g,nosuid 0 0
по умолчания размер tmpfs - половина объёма ОЗУ, что-бы работало как у
меня, надо увеличить размер раздела SWAP (+ всех файлов, используемых
для swap) до 12Гб.
Мне нравится - быстро и /tmp очищается автоматом.
