Вот потому "еще одно приложение" и не запускается.

"Суффикс" и "окончание" - разные вещи.

С чего это из-за Ваших предпочтений программа должна игнорировать файловую
систему и связи в ней!?
Словом, понятно, что Ваши вопросы - не более чем брюзжание о своих
предпочтениях.
