Добрый вечер!
Попытался зпустить kooka и вот что обнаружил:
[serge@yarilo ~]$ kooka
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.25-std-def-alt8/modules.dep: Permission
denied
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.25-std-def-alt8/modules.dep: Permission
denied
FATAL: Could not load /lib/modules/2.6.25-std-def-alt8/modules.dep: Permission
denied
KCrash: Application 'kooka' crashing...
Вопрос - тут все в порядке? Зачем ей modules.dep? А если нужен, чего
разрешения кривые? Они, на самом деле "кривые" на 2.6.25-std-def-alt8/.

а зачем она туда лезет? Модули догружать? ну это не пользовательских
программ дело

Так и есть. Это от sane идет. Попробовал погуглить на эту тему - ничего
вразумительного не увидел.
