Добрый вечер!
После последнего обновления панель в КДЕ стала вести себя странно: пропали
иконки в трее для приложений которые это умеют (amarok, skype), не
отображаются динамические mouseover эффекты (kmix, kweather). Виноват видимо
новый kde-settings-desktopю Это как-то можно исправить?

Попробуйте
- завершить сессию KDE
- из консоли переименовать ~/.kde/share/config/kickerrc в kickerrc.backup
- войти в систему.

Это я сразу попробовал, не помогло. Видимо, где-то еще конфликты в файлах
установок других компонентов КДЕ. Помог полный цикл -- снесение
kde-settings-desktop, удаление kickerrc, автогенерация нового, потом
установка kde-settings-desktop обратно. Теперь работает.
