...после последних обновлений. При хождении по истории - на экране мусор,
часть выведенных ранее строк не стирается, курсор съезжает. В удаленной
сессии ssh открытой в той же Konsole - все в порядке.

Версии втянутых в историю пакетов и локаль сообщите, пожалуйста.

Ну откуда же я знаю, кто в этой истории замешан, а кто - нет. Навскидку:

Все то же самое, openssh-3.6.1p2-alt7.
Думаю - мелочь, старый конфиг где-то гадит, но найти не могу, раздражает.
