Добрый день!
Возможно возникший у меня вопрос покажется глупым, но все-же:
с системами на каких CPU совмевтимы пакеты собраные для архитектуры
x86_64 (из сизифус), только AMD64 или для intel EM64T тоже?
Есть-ли смысл пробовать эти пакеты на Pentium D 830 (Dual core + EM64T),
или сразу забыть о существовании этих пакетов?

Пакеты в Сизифе собраны под generic x86_64. Ядро включительно. Т.е.никаких
оптимизаций под amd64 нет, впрочем, как и под em64t.

конкретно em64t и амд64 ничем(у ем64 двух команд вроде не хватает, но
это не страшно), но ещё есть оптимизации под архитектуру проца(e.g K8),
например может быть оптимизация под K8 без x86_64
