Итак встречайте - Xorg-6.9-RC0
Как всегда есть хорошие и плохие новости. Хорошие можно почитать здесь:

Ну и плохие новости:
1. Отвалился fglrx драйвер, починке не подлежит. Когда ATI родит новую версию
неизвесно.
2. Отвалился nvidia драйвер, точнее сам драйвер рабочий (в отличии от ATI
nVidia озаботилась совместимостью с 6.9/7.0 еще при выпуске 7174), ждем
nvidia_glx_1.0.7174-1.0.7174-alt10
3. Отъехал ImageMagick, ну здесь поможет простая пересборка
4. в пакете 855resolution <= 0.4-alt1 скрипт переключения библиотек libgl*
теперь работает некоректно
Для нормальной работы DRI требуется kernel-modules-drm >= 2005.07.22. Для
скачивания пакеты xorg-x11-* будут доступны примерно во вторник, интересуют
отзывы владельцев следующих видео карт: всевозможные radeon (драйвер ati),
intel, savage, matrox
P.S. Предвижу такой вопрос - "Почему 6.9-RC0, почему не 7.0-RC0"
То о чем так долго говорили большевики - свершилось. Что такое Xorg-7.0 можно

Ну и собственно ответ на вопрос - сейчас я не готов собрать 272 исходных
