1) Когдя я его использовал проблем никаких не увидел. Не знаю,
какой логике противоречит этот патч. Такие вещи изначально
противоречат логике работы в Unix.
2) Списках рассылки MDK-9 еще ничего не означают. Туда могут
писать разные олухи, которые еще не умеют работать с
компьютером.
3) Ядро 2.4.19 простите тоже не является вполне рабочим. И autofs
не является вполне рабочим. И очень многие программы не являются
еще вполне рабочими. Это не аргумент.
