Здравствуйте,
хочу уточнить вопрос о снижении нагрева ноута с Radeon'ом на борту:
ноут MSI X370 проц. AMD E350 видео radeon HD 6310
Я нашёл с ходу вот такой ответ:

драйвер ставилcя штатными средствами убунты
в каталисте версия упаковки драйвера 8.96.7-120312a-1355598C-ATI
при этом
$ uname -a
Linux masteer-MS-1356 3.2.0-26-generic-pae #41-Ubuntu SMP Thu Jun 14
16:45:14 UTC 2012 i686 athlon i386 GNU/Linux
