Добрый день,
Ничего страшного не случится: просто храните свои переводы отдельно. При
внесении в репозиторий тот, кто это будет делать (ну, или Вы сами), объединит
перевод с данными из текущего каталога переводов. Достаточно просто
воспользоваться памятью переводов и вторичной синхронизацией Lokalize.
