У меня есть рабочий EeePC 1000H. Я ставил на него XFCE сборку на
основе p9. В общем, печальное зрелище. Замена жёсткого диска на ssd и
докидывание второй планки памяти DDR2 1GB (в сумме 2 GB, больше он не
может) особо не помогают. Не понятно, для чего его можно использовать.
Как пишмашинку с экраном 1024x600 не поиспользуешь, опять же в
LibreOffice тормоза. В интернете в браузере особо не пошляешься:
открыл пару вкладок, и можно несколько чайников вскипятить, пока
дождёшься прогрузки и отображения страниц на этих вкладках. Видео на
ютубе совсем не тянет.
Машина откровенно слабая на современных системах.
А когда-то, когда только купил (2009 г.), можно было и в интернете
шляться и супертукса гонять по ледяным склонам.
