Увы, TDE у нас никогда особо живым не было (даже в p6/t6 уже,
когда перешли с KDE3 на этот апстрим -- но в p7 оно было глючным,
а к p8, помнится, осталось без майданувшегося майнтейнера).

Ещё можете посмотреть lxqt, но это всяко лучше на livecd пощупать.
