Ну все клавиши (у меня) начали возвращать события,
останется только повесить на них что-то, lineakd например.

(на самом деле это общая проблема для всех типов клавиатур с
дополнительными кнопками).
Строго говоря, atkbd.softraw=0 не является 100% правильным решением -
использование этой опции означает, что ядро не будет обеспечивать
изоляцию программ, использующих режим ввода RAW, от особенностей
аппаратуры (в данном случае эта функция переносится в X, где нужно
установить аппаратно-зависимое описание клавиатуры). Однако с
текущими версиями ядра и X этот способ позволяет проще всего добиться
нужного результата.
