Is there a way of getting Synaptic to include a sub-directory on my hard drive
in its search when I ask it to update available packages for installation?
Every once in a while I find an RPM that I'd like to install, and I would like
Synaptic to handle all of the the dependency issues.
David.

Maybe you shuld create your own repository and ask Synaptic to use it?
I'm not sure about the location of the documentation on the issue, but there
must be many.

Certainly the game is rigged.
