Он не нужен значительной части ALTLinux Team, но нужен OOO ALTLinux.

Дело в том, что это OEM дистрибутив. Т.е. поддерживаемая (и
стабильная) часть будет исчисляться пакетами, помещающимися на 1 CD...
А основная причина конфликта - недостаточная отлаженность дитрибутива,
гонка за новейшими "фишками" к определенному сроку... Идеальным
вариантом будет выпуск собственного дитрибутива ALTLinux Team и
разделение доменов altlinux.org и altlinux.ru на домен для сообщества
и домен компании, соответственно...
