Все-таки задевает за живое сложившаяся ситуация. После сегодняшних баталий в #altlinux - особенно.
Господа, предлагаю не драться между собой, а просто пока не выпускать дистрибутив, раз для его выпуска требуется раскол как между частями команды, так и между сообществом и командой.
ИМХО (и только ИМХО), пока ALM2.4+backports+Sisyphus kernels не исчерпали себя. А 3.0 _пока_ не нужен. Опять же ИМХО.
Похвальна идея о стабильном бранче-сизифёнке, но какова сейчас его стабильность? Когда будет достигнут уровень, необходимый для релиза? Я не знаю, и хотелось бы услышать ответ. Лично _мне_ сроки не столь важны. Сизиф развивается в том же духе, так что тестировать есть что; багзиллу тоже никто не отменял.
ЗЫ. А откуда вообще взялись сроки на выпуск новых версий? Не с потолка же?
