JFYI. Может, кому пригодится.
Была у меня одна проблема, с некоторыми ДСЛАМами и модемами D-Link
DSL-500T. Заключалась в том, что то ли модем, то ли ДСЛАМ поплёвывали
на RFC 2684 (http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc2684.html) и в результате
ничего не работало :-) Потому, что модем, бросая малые пакеты в линию,
их не паддил до езернетовского минимума, а ДСЛАМ такие отбрасывал
("слишком короткие").
. о О ( Думаю, что виноват ДСЛАМ;) Говорят, это видели на разных... )
А этот модем работает под Линуксом :-)

и http://forum.ixbt.com/topic.cgi?id=14:34671 удалось проблему победить
добавлением патчика

Так как я не программист... Тем более, не кернел хакер...
