Добрый день.
А какой нынче способ суспендить или гибернейтить ноут из гнома?
pm-utils или hibernate?
Radeon M200 под нынешими иксами очень плохо просыпается.

gnome-power-manager

попробуйте так: http://www.altlinux.org/PowerManagement/suspend/setup
Рекомендую добиться нормального suspend, а потом переходить к hibernate.

Вот в этом месте я, похоже, промахнулся. Куда-то пропали пункты меню у
апплета, хотя кнопка "ЗАСЫПАНИЕ" ноутбука всё ещё работает.

Эти кнопки нашлись по CTRL+ALT+DEL.
Но нет реакции на кнопки power и sleep. Где это настраивается?
