Еще раз здравствуйте!
Вопрос такой:
стоит ли указывать (выкашивать) из spec-файлов "локализованные"
определения (например, %description пакета)? Если их стоит оставлять, то
какой язык правильно указывать (после -l): "короткий" ru или "правильный"
ru_RU.KOI8-R. Недостатком (хотя и общепринятым) первого варианта является
возможная мешанина кодировок (сам лично наблюдал, как модные г-да из
Мэндрейк) засунули описания в UTF8, в то время как чарсетом локали был
KOI8-R :-), недостатком второго - некоторая громоздкость объявления
(%description -l ru_RU.KOI8-R)
Кстати, давеча новый pan вышел, желающие могут попробовать собрать, вдруг
там починили работы с новым gtkhtml.
