Здравствуйте.
Поставил ядро 2.6.26-alt0.8 с unsafe.ru (i586)
При загрузке вываливается это:

Jul  4 12:49:38 alex hwclock: hwclock: ioctl() to /dev/rtc to turn on update interrupts failed 
unexpectedly, errno = Inappropriate ioctl for device (25).
Jul  4 12:49:38 alex hwclock: Unable to synchronize to a clock tick, which means we cannot get 
better than one second precision from the hardware clock.  If this is OK with you, run with the 
--fast option.
Jul  4 12:49:38 alex clock: Setting system clock (localtime): failed

как это победить?

как советуют - использовать параметр --fast для hwclock.

Начиная с startup-0.9.8.19-alt1 это можно сделать, указав
FAST=true в /etc/sysconfig/clock

Наверное, надо учесть в alterator-sysconfig.

Он себя ведёт правильно. Но проблема в том, что версия из util-linux и 
версия из сизифа отличаются ... и достаточно сильно. Вот например ключи:

$ comm /tmp/old-hwclock /tmp/new-hwclock

Опции srm, arc и fast используются у нас startup.

Как выяснилось, это тоже работает не всегда. В смысле, --fast
Ошибка не возникает, но и не делается ничего.

Из util-linux-2.14-alt1 работает.
