Мне вообще он больше всех браузеров нравится :)
По сути - у меня не тормозит, но может у вас тормозит не он, а
какая-нибудь служба KDE (или плагин konqueror). Можно посмотреть его
запуск из xterm. Можно при явных тормозах запустить предварительно
konqueror --preload.
