Чуго-то у нас неладно с apt.
У меня это вылечилось обновлением apt до 0.5.5cnc1-alt3,
однако сломались обновления Мастера :(
# apt-get update

По-моему что-то в apt-шных индексах поменялось - вот и сломалось.
Если это важно - apt собран из исходников.
Так просто из Сизифа оно в Мастер не лезет.
