Я у себя дома собирал 2.4.19 при помощи gcc3.2. Захотелось мне нормального
dosemu. Заметно уменьшилось время на запуск программ, потребление оными
процессорного времени, да и скорость доступа к диску возросла. Видимо, все
же дает свои законные несколько процентов сборка для Duron/Athlon.
А вообще все нормально собралось, рушилось только 1 раз - при переключении
из X в консоль. Учитывая то, что я переключаюсь туда-сюда по сотне раз за
день, да и после еще одной пересборки больше не проявлялось - можно
сказать, глюков с ядром нет.
