при попытке развернуть заархивированные раделы на другой копьютер
kudzu находит другую видеокарту, настраивает X, загрузка продолжается,
но при попытке стартовать X валятся с
fatal server error
could'not open default font 'fixed'
ээээ... что делать?
ps
сообщение об ошибке записано со слов - завтра попытаюсь воспроизвести, но эта-же ошидка была замечена и ранее, при подобных действиях

Попросить сделать "/sbin/pidof xfs"; если пусто --
# service xfs start
# chkconfig xfs on
Если не поможет -- дальше в /var/log/messages (про место уже
сказали).
PS: "архивы" такие -- если таром -- с "-p" полезно создавать и
распаковывать.
