Hello All!
Вот решил поиграть... Раньше стоял RH + собранный из src.rpm svgalib + qwcl
взятый в виде rpm с их родного ftp. Все было прекрасно. Сейчас у меня сизиф и
установлено следующее:
$ rpm -qa|grep quake
quakeforge-libs-0.5.1-alt0.7.20020818
quakeforge-svga-0.5.1-alt0.7.20020818
quakeforge-libs-sw-0.5.1-alt0.7.20020818
quakeforge-0.5.1-alt0.7.20020818
Отредактировал /etc/vga/libvga.config - поменял тип мышки и
chipset NV3 # (у меня железка Riva TNT-2)
Запускаю /usr/bin/qw-client-svga и получаю не то чтобы тормоза, но изображение
идет рывками :( Пробовал с конфигом который остался от шляпы - то же самое.
Внутрь файла /etc/quakeforge.conf тоже заглядывал но там ничего интересного
нету. В чем же может быть дело ? Напомню что под RH все работало нормально.

К сожаленю не могу проверить, svgalib у меня на радеоне как-то
не очень хочет работать...

Есть пакет quakeforge-doc, там в частности лежат
speed-optimized конфиги.
P.S. qw-client-x11 работает?

А с новой svgalib все пучком, даже от suid избавились (правда, через одно
место, сделали kernel_helper, который толком не работает :( Сижу вот,
второй день ковыряю, откуда unresolved symbols лезут...
