Это проблема с драйвером PDC от Arjan de Ven, из-за чего не работает
автоопределение RAID root. Если поставите в загрузочную строку
raid=noautodetect md=0,<устройства>, то должно будет отработать.
Исправление от Алана Кокса не работает и до сих пор не ясно, как это все
поправить.
