Добрый день!
Две вещи:
1. Принтер Xerox DocuPrint M750 так и не удалось настроить :-(
Пробовал и черз Cups и через foomatic-configure. Молчит как
партизан, ни на что не реагирует. При тщательном рассмотрении
error_log от cups обнаружил что ему что то не нравиться в
GhostScript-е. Попробовал просто создать файл .raw из .ps с
помощью этого драйвера -- вылетел Ghostscript 6.50 с ошибкой --
файл не создался... Возможно причина в этом? Так как в docs по
драйверу (pcl3) чётко написано что сей принтер проверено рабочий.
Пока что поменялся с тестем ;-) Взял у него HP840C -- тот то
заработал без проблем, а ему на вынь поставил Xerox -- тот тоже
работает, так чтио проблема только в драйвере... Если у кого
какие идеи есть -- говорите проверю с удовольствием ;-)
2. Поставил себе вчера kernel-2.4.17 и kernel-headers. Не могу
скомпилить драйвера nVidia :-( То есть драйвер компилится номано,
пишет что поставил его на место, но при запуске startx в консоль
пишется что не может найти кернеловый модуль nVidia... если надо
вечерком могу привести точную запись. В чем могет быть дело? Ещё
раз говорю -- headers есть... Компилил несколько раз -- причем
напрямую задавая директорию с хидерами...
