Доброе время суток господа!
Обнаружилась такая проблемка:
При запуске xmms под WindowMaker'ом напрочь слетают иксы
с 11-ым сигналом((( (лог прилагается,для желающих могу кору
выслать).
WindowMaker-0.65.0-alt1
XFree86-4.0.3-ipl7mdk
xmms-1.2.4-ipl7mdk
Под gdb вроде ничего примечательного не заметил(((
У кого такое встречалось?

Во-первых, у Вас лог от 3.3.6
Во-вторых, попробуйте запустить xmms под другим wm.
Если все будет также, то проблема, видимо с xmms.
Если под другими wm все будет хорошо... будем
разбираься дальше.

Как я понял, у Вас X-сервер XFree86-S3-3.3.6, который уже давно не
рекомендуется использовать (вместо него рекомендовали XFree86-SVGA).
Например, у меня в свое время S3Trio64 работала без всяких проблем
именно на нем.
