А она, как правило, и не собирается. Собирается libXv.a, в devel-static.

Здравствуйте!
Эта 4.0.99 наверное уже не актуальна, 4.1 на подходе, но все же. При попытке поставить xine обнаружил , что нет библиотеки libXv.so.1 ;(

А как быть? libXv.a действительно есть. xine собирать со статической библиотекой?

Действительно, а почему не собирают libXv.so.*? Не нужно, не работает или
не удалось собрать?

По умолчанию не собирается, а запросов не было. Посмотрим.
