Доброго времени суток!
Решил немного обновиться из Сизифа, в результате Gnome обновился до
версии 2.2.0. Вот только не запоминаются сохраненные мной имена рабочих
столов и цвета ящиков.
Даже и не знаю, что добавить. Разве что
$ rpm -qa | grep -i gconf2
libGConf2-devel-2.2.0-alt2
GConf2-2.2.0-alt2
libGConf2-2.2.0-alt2
$ rpm -q gnome-panel
gnome-panel-2.2.0-alt1
На всякий случай стирал ~/.gconf и ~/.gconfd, не помогло.
Такие проблемы только у меня? Что где может быть не так?

ящиками не пользуюсь, а имена рабочих столов свои. нормально все.

У меня тоже самое. Система та же.
