Тут вот выяснилось, что texi2dvi из комплекта texinfo-4.0-ipl18mdk
ломается на прожевывании документации из
cvs-nserver (конкретно на cvs.texinfo, see
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/*checkout*/cvs-nserver/cvs-nserver/doc/cvs.texinfo?rev=1.1.1.7.2.3.2.1&only_with_tag=NCLI-1-11-1 ). Такое ощущение, что команда
TEXINPUTS=.:$TEXINPUTS \
MAKEINFO='/bin/sh /usr/src/RPM/BUILD/cvs-nserver/missing --run makeinfo -I .' \
texi2dvi cvs.texinfo
зацикливается где-то в середине процесса. К слову, texinfo-4.0b-3 из
RH-7.2 отрабатывает на этом документе нормально (про
cvs-admin-guide.texi говорить не надо, знаю :-))
