Доброго дня!
Неприятная ошибка в GNOME control-center.
При каждом запуске control-center "съезжают" установки HTML viewer.
Эффект немедленно проявляется на всех приложениях, в частности -
Evolution.
Исходные значения неплохо было бы вынести в etcskel-[locale], иначе
матюги пользователей можно считать гарантированными.

В качестве временного решения - после настройки снять разрешение а
запись с файла "~/.gconf/GNOME/Documents/HTML_Editor"

С правами - Ok.
Но собака похоже порыта не в G-CC, а в GCONF.
Т.к. даже с read-only настроечным файлом шрифты могут "съезжать".
Кажется сие может спонтанно происходить при заходе в настройки
Evolution.
