Hello!
Вот, задумал грандиозное дело сделать - сабж.
Поскольку сабж есть нешуточное действие, то прощу помощи у сообщества в деле
определения готовности моей системы к этому самому сабжу. :-)
Кратко "о себе" :-)
Mandrake 7.0 RE + избранное из Appendix + часть из Сизифа. Glibc - 2.2,
gcc - 2.96. Иксы и троллевые либы - старые, еще из 7.0 RE. Gtk+ - обновлял.
Ядрышко 2.2.18.
Полно "о себе":
bzip2'овыннй `rpm -qa | sort` лежит в аттаче.
Да не будет вам лениво его просмотреть, потому как у меня в системе IMHO
чёрт ногу сломит :-)
P.S. Вся эта байда с сабжем затевается ради licq, потому как kicq уже
порядком достала и AFAIK больше не развивается автором.
Насколько серьезные потери в совместимости у KDE1 и KDE2?
Чисто KDEшными прибамбасами сильно не пользуюсь (окромя kicq), но о
возможных граблях хочется знать заранее, потому как потом undo будет сделать
ну очень сложно.
По поводу обновления Иксов: карточка у меня старая, Diamond Stealth 3D 2000
(S3 Virge-family), 2Mb. Такое старье еще не выкинули? Оно хоть
поддерживается? :-)
P.P.S. Ну и, конечно, хочется это все собрать под свою машину (ядро пишет,
что Intel Celeron (Mendocino)). Все одно побыстрее будет работать, чем из
i586-пакетов.
