Вопрос 1: как включать Ubuntu 6.06 в домен?
Вопрос 2: нужна прога под, скажем, под ту же Ubuntu. Кто что посоветует?

доменом ты называешь Active Directory от Microsoft?
Смотри настройки самбы, здесь даже в рассылке обсуждали недавно

совсем не понял суть вопроса.
тебе надо что-то дополнительно поставить чего нет в дистрибутиве,
репозитории, на развалах?
тогда либо искать собранно под дистрибутив либо собирать самому
