"Использую" G520 с распоследнейшими madwifi в режиме Master.
Выше 11Мбит (.g-режимы) не заводится.
Работает довольно стабильно, если не щелкать режимы на клиенте (у меня
эта карточка стоит на "сервере", к которому цепляется "клиент" в виде
ноутбука с ipw2200 на борту).
Собственно, бывает, что падает в kernel oops, если на ноутбуке пару раз
в минуту попереключать режимы на ноутбуке - 54 в 11 и наоборот.

Лучше заказать Planet WL-8310. Чипсет тот же, но работает на порядок
стабильнее.
