Здравствуйте!
Можно ли, где-нибудь почитать рекомендации по созданию новых
скриптов для /etc/rc.d/init.d? Или единственный вариант -
смотреть как всё сделано в уже существующих скриптах?

Или в /etc/init.d/template.
